On July 15, 2025, Domonick Knight—a veteran, father of four, and a man full of kindness—was shot and killed by police during a mental health crisis. He needed help. He got bullets. This act affected me deeply. Not only because Domonick was someone who was there for others. But because his death could have been prevented—with compassion, with listening, with education. I wrote this song to make his story heard. For his family. For justice. For all those who never get a voice. “Say His Name (Domonick's Song)” is not a song like any other. It is a reminder. A eulogy.
