Dixie & The Whisper is an independent music project driven by guitars, emotion, and the stubborn belief that it is never too late to follow a dream.
Behind the project stands an older musician who has finally decided to give music the space it always deserved in his life. He plays several instruments, continues to learn new ones, and has committed himself to rock and hard rock — music with edges, heart, weight, and soul.
In the beginning, Dixie & The Whisper was created with a strong amount of AI support. That was part of the journey, a tool to open doors and bring ideas to life. But the project is changing. The use of AI is now being reduced to a minimum. The goal is to make the music more personal, more human, and closer to the original feeling behind every song.
After several COVID infections affected his voice, Dixie is now singing again himself. His voice has recovered, and with it came the desire to bring his own expression back into the songs. Not perfect, not polished
